A statement from the North Star Theater Company Board of Directors regarding COVID-19:
At this time, all scheduled performances of “GODSPELL” are running as planned EXCEPT THE WEDNESDAY MARCH 18, 2020 SHOW. The Wednesday March 18, 2020 show scheduled for 7 PM has been cancelled. The North Star Theater Company Box Office Manager contacted every Patron via e-mail that pre-purchased tickets and offered several different options, depending on the Patron’s choice. If you have tickets for Wednesday’s performance and have not received an e-mail, please contact us at email@example.com or @northstartheater Facebook page.
During times of crisis and constant media attention, our minds and souls can sometimes feel overwhelmed and engulfed with worry and grief. It is our hope that “Godspell” will uplift your spirits if only for a few hours and maybe act as a happy distraction to all the Covid-19 bad news. This is not to say that we take the Covid-19 pandemic lightly. On the contrary. We’ve been watching the news reports and listening to the experts about how to behave and to be safe. In this regard we feel our decision is in line with what the experts are saying and we are acting professionally and prudently.
We want to make you aware of the steps we are taking to keep the venue clean during the run of our upcoming performances. We all have to do our part to ensure our personal safety and the safety of our friends, family, and everyone else around us. The following activity will be implemented at the “Godspell” venue:
– The seats, lobby and restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected before and after each show.
– Protective gloves will be worn by volunteers and ushers.
– Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer will be available to help reduce the spread of germs.
– Dressing rooms will be limited to CAST ONLY.
In closing we want to thank you for your continued support. The safety of our cast, crew and patrons is very important to us. If you feel coming to any of our shows will be a burden to you, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org or post a private message on our Facebook page @northstartheater and someone will respond to your concerns. Stay safe and stay healthy!
